Located in the hills above the town of Manjo in the Littoral region of Cameroon, MCH is a home for children in vulnerable situations.
Its vision is to create a sanctuary where street children, orphans and children in need can find refuge, feel safe, benefit from medical care, have access to education and vocational training, and receive a Christian education.
The construction of school buildings and sports facilities on the 21-hectare site are just some of the projects awaiting completion, with the aim of providing comprehensive care for the children and promoting their success and development.
“Our vision includes our own school as local schools lack excellence. Although our children attend local schools at this stage, most of the education and progress seems to happen at Manjo Children’s Home after school with the help of our dedicated staff. We would like to ensure a better education for them and the children in the surrounding area.”
“Ultimately, we’d like to use four acres for sports fields, including a soccer pitch, an athletics field, a handball/volleyball court, a basketball court and a tennis court.”
Prosperi was approached by the founder of MCH, whose project began in 2006. Since then, many milestones have been reached thanks to his love for others and his determination, but the organization still needs support to carry out projects awaiting financing.
